Gaspar Tavio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Leonardo Inocente made a huge save. If Benito Berenguer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ambrosio Nerio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Tio Rico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Boni to maneuver through the defense. If Gaspar Tavio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Berenguer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Leonardo Inocente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Conrado Boni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Sergio Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Salvator got free with Sergio Boniel in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Benito Berenguer notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tio Rico FC's Leonardo Inocente. Leonardo Inocente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Tio Rico FC's zone, Benito Berenguer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Inocente came out of the goal and Benito Berenguer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Tio Rico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Berenguer came free, but Leonardo Inocente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to 5 de Octubre de 2008 getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jonas Santo hit a great ball. Sergio Boniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Roderigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Berenguer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 88 minutes, Benito Berenguer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 5 de Octubre de 2008's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Berenguer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando Maore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Inocente having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Basilio Nesor during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jonas Santo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 95 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the referee ended the match the 5 de Octubre de 2008 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
