Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Modesto Piearres took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cesar Urtzi scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregorio Havier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13th minute Cesar Urtzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Modesto Piearres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Rudolfo in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Urtzi in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Havier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 21 minutes into the match, Ancón's goalkeeper Honorio Aballe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Orti. Honorio Aballe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Rudolfo in the 24th minute of the match. Freddy Rudolfo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Honorio Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bernardo Orti came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Anfibio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Orti couldn't finish the play. Honorio Aballe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Rudolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Anfibio FC's Freddy Rudolfo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Rudolfo was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Anfibio FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Ancón. Luciano Eleder stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gregorio Havier. 2-2. In the 62nd minute of the match Marco Bizi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gregorio Havier skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Ancón defense, Freddy Rudolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorio Aballe. The Ancón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorio Aballe should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Piearres in the 73rd minute of play forced Anfibio FC's goalkeeper Gregorio Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 played minutes Ancón got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Eleder. Anfibio FC's Bernardo Orti got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Urtzi in the 83rd minute of play forced Anfibio FC's goalkeeper Gregorio Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Modesto Piearres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Ancón fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Ancón's Modesto Piearres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 92nd minute Freddy Rudolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teofilo Sol during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Anfibio FC booed when Ancón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Sol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorio Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Rudolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Cesar Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Havier having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
