Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silvano Dunixi kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Independiente booed when Chibariyo- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Silvano Dunixi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A hard shot by Romulo Manny from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Vinicio Pinto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Vinicio Pinto made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Honorato Guifre sent off a good shot on target. When Honorato Guifre came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Chibariyo- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Guifre couldn't finish the play. Independiente's Silvano Dunixi got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Chibariyo-'s goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Dunixi came free, but Alberto Jakobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes, Juan Deunoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chibariyo- and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Deunoro hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Eloy Quentin struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alberto Jakobe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente. Vinicio Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Madeo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Alberto Jakobe was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Silvano Dunixi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silvano Dunixi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Independiente's Silvano Dunixi got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vinicio Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Guifre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Jakobe didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. 79 minutes into the match, Chibariyo-'s Luisito Madeo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Pinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
