The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Astor Petrigai took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramiro Chus. Ángeles del Silencio FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 4th minute, Rafael Chinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the game, Froilan Mitxaut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrecifes AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ángeles del Silencio FC the free kick. After 15 played minutes Arrecifes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Mitxaut. If Omar Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Quintan got free with Ramiro Chus in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th match minute, Ángeles del Silencio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Chinto to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Gerardo Enmanuel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ramiro Chus. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 37th minute, Leandro Quintan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrecifes AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Leandro Quintan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Enmanuel to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Arrecifes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Severo Ralondo. Leandro Quintan struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ramiro Chus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrecifes AFC. Gerardo Enmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ramiro Chus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Chus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Enmanuel in the 60th minute of play. Casimiro Lehoi's late challenge caught a Arrecifes AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Lehoi helped the player get up and apologised. Emilio Gotzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Emanuel Lartaun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Chus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. But to his dismay, Benedicto Jatsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 81 minutes into the game, Ismael Abilio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ángeles del Silencio FC's Ramiro Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Enmanuel in the 85th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Gerardo Enmanuel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrecifes AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Federico Marko hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Arrecifes AFC's Emanuel Loramendi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arrecifes AFC's Gerardo Enmanuel got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ángeles del Silencio FC's Rafael Chinto got a free kick in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Enmanuel in the 96th minute of play forced Ángeles del Silencio FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Chus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ángeles del Silencio FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arrecifes AFC.
