If Julio Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 3rd minute, but Camilo Udalaitz got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Lileo AFC hanging dry this time. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Julio Moise got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 11 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Montxo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Udalaitz. Dalmacio Montxo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Dalmacio Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrero's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Montxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Udalaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Aquiles Montxo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrero's protests and gave Aquiles Montxo a yellow card for diving instead. Aquiles Montxo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Potrero's Aquiles Montxo got his second yellow card of the match in the 26th minute. The referee ordered Aquiles Montxo off the ground. After 26 played minutes Potrero got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Montxo. If Julio Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Dalmacio Montxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Ritchie in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Udalaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dalmacio Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ezequiel Fortun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lileo AFC defense, Alejo Dabi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Udalaitz. The Lileo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Udalaitz should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernabe Aballe to make the kick off. Camilo Udalaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Montxo in the 58th minute of the match. Lileo AFC's Camilo Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Montxo in the 63rd minute of play. Dalmacio Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Everardo Ritchie came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Potrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Ritchie couldn't finish the play. Dalmacio Montxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Udalaitz having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Dalmacio Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Montxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Potrero's Fabio Caitano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Udalaitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Alejo Dabi fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrero's protests and gave Alejo Dabi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Bernabe Aballe fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ezequiel Fortun, passed just outside the right post. There was no doubt that Potrero were the better team. Potrero's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
