In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santo FC's goalkeeper Romulo Cugat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Teofilo Rudolfo fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santo FC's protests and gave Teofilo Rudolfo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Santo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. Saverio Harriet charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Guido Quintana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Froilan Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Ilazki was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jairo Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the game, one of Marionetas Magicas F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, Santo FC's Eustacio Benitez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Froilan Nofre. In the 59th minute, Ramiro Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofilo Rudolfo got his second yellow card in the match during the 62nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Santo FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Teofilo Rudolfo hit a great ball. The supporters of Santo FC booed when Marionetas Magicas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Pio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Ilazki in the 67th minute of play forced Santo FC's goalkeeper Romulo Cugat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Martin Ilazki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marionetas Magicas F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Ilazki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Israel Firmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo FC's Ramiro Cordearo suffered a concussion in the 93rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 93 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Pio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marionetas Magicas F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santo FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Marionetas Magicas F.C's Arnoldo Pio got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Marionetas Magicas F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Santo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
