After a defensive mix-up in Super Power's zone, Ramiro Cordearo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Arias came out of the goal and Ramiro Cordearo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Super Power's Ermegildo Marz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romulo Cugat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ermegildo Marz struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Romulo Cugat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Super Power. After having played for 31 minutes, Guido Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Quintana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Quintana in the 32nd minute of play forced Super Power's goalkeeper Edgardo Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Marz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermegildo Marzs short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Romulo Cugat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Santo FC's Romulo Cugat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Marz in the 42nd minute of play. Felix Aurken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Cugat having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Quintana in the 66th minute of play forced Super Power's goalkeeper Edgardo Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67thth minute of the game Guido Quintana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Super Power's Edgardo Arias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes Super Power got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Santikurtz. Ramiro Cordearos short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Edgardo Arias to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edgardo Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Quintana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes, Leopoldo Frances mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Super Power and the Santo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Felix Aurken came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Super Power fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Aurken couldn't finish the play. In the 95th match minute, Santo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. When Ermegildo Marz came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Super Power fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Marz couldn't finish the play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
