The referee ignored Potrero's protests and gave Alejo Dabi a yellow card for diving instead. After recieving a nice pass, Marionetas Magicas F.C's Arnoldo Pio tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Ilazki in the 18th minute of play forced Potrero's goalkeeper Ezequiel Fortun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Fortun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Ilazki in the 20th minute of the match. Froilan Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Montxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jairo Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Fortun having to interfere. Froilan Nofre made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Julio Moise sent off a good shot on target. Ambrosio Aznar kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Marionetas Magicas F.C's goalkeeper Froilan Nofre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Moise. Ezequiel Fortun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Ilazki went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Potrero players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marionetas Magicas F.C were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Martin Ilazki made the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Dalmacio Montxo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marionetas Magicas F.C's Froilan Nofre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jairo Rivas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Julio Moise cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Froilan Nofre was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Dalmacio Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Potrero's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Montxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Nofre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Dalmacio Montxo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Potrero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Dalmacio Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Froilan Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dalmacio Montxo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Potrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Montxo couldn't finish the play. Froilan Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Moise, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Martin Ilazki was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Marionetas Magicas F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Froilan Nofre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute, Israel Firmo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Potrero were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Marionetas Magicas F.C for a fine match.
