Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Baldomiro Gai started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marcelino Tanio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Gai in the 5th minute of the match. When Nemesio Hernandez fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cululú's protests and gave Nemesio Hernandez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cululú getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Nemesio Hernandez hit a great ball. Dalmacio Montxo scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Sedeni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelino Tanio came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Cululú's Baldomiro Gai. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Gai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Sundblad AFC defense, Baldomiro Gai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelino Tanio. The Sundblad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelino Tanio should have stopped the shot. Dalmacio Montxo came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gervasio Sedeni could save by the left post. After 25 played minutes Cululú got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Hernandez. After 33 played minutes Sundblad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Aznaro. Leopoldo Romo charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Romo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sundblad AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Leopoldo Romo hit a great ball. Marcelino Tanio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Gai, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Nemesio Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Hipolito Stanislao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Cululú's goalkeeper Gervasio Sedeni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmacio Montxo.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Valentine made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Baldomiro Gai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cululú's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Gai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Tanio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sundblad AFC's Marcelino Tanio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Remigio in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Cululú's Baldomiro Gai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. If Baldomiro Gai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cululú's attentive Orlando Romero managed to snatch the ball when Amador Aznaro made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Placido Remigio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Tanio having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Gai dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelino Tanio, 1-4. After 73 played minutes Sundblad AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Aznaro. Placido Remigio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sundblad AFC's goalkeeper Marcelino Tanio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Julio Diagur put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Cululú booed when Sundblad AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Diagur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Sundblad AFC booed when Cululú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Aznaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gervasio Sedeni. Cululú's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th minute, Dalmacio Montxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nemesio Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Tanio having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Gai in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Tanio saved Sundblad AFC from getting behind. Cululú played a much better game than Sundblad AFC and deserved their victory. The Sundblad AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
