But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Hodei couldn't finish the play. Domingo Austin hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Satordi in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Sansone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Rene Ler came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the CABJ 1905 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Ler couldn't finish the play. Rene Ler struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Lázaro Naelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CABJ 1905. Aquilino Satordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Sansone having to interfere. Francisco Sansone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Hodei in the 19th minute of play. Francisco Sansone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Hodei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to CABJ 1905 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Domingo Austin hit a great ball. Jeremias Eleazar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Santos Hodei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of CABJ 1905 booed when U.D. Lacaniana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Maldonado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aquilino Satordi was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, CABJ 1905's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Satordi came free, but Francisco Sansone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Ler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Naelio having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, U.D. Lacaniana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. After 61 played minutes U.D. Lacaniana got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Duarte. A collision led to U.D. Lacaniana getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Norberto Duarte hit a great ball. A hard and well directed shot from Jonathan Balasi led 64 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. U.D. Lacaniana's Lázaro Naelio became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. Guaberto Rumaldo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, CABJ 1905's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Satordi came free, but Francisco Sansone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lázaro Naelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Firman in the 81st minute of play. Lázaro Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Ler in the 85th minute of the match. Santos Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th match minute, CABJ 1905 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Crispo to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Sansone had great luck who in the 89thth minute grab hold of the ball when Aquilino Satordi from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Lázaro Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Firman in the 94th minute of the match. CABJ 1905's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
