Basilio Baraquiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Gonzales having to interfere. Clodoveo Bertran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Epifanio Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, Vikingos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Ieltxu to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eustacio Venceslas to make the kick off. Fabricio Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee showed Romeo Matia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Epifanio Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Clodoveo Bertran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Vikingos FC's zone, Epifanio Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Magnus Vibjörnsson came out of the goal and Epifanio Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sitrack succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Vikingos FC had controlled the match.
