Mateo Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Leon Rosalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Atletico Platense's Leon Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Corderall in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Daniel Niva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Rosalio skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Monserrat FC's Gaston Perico got a free kick in the 11th minute. Adolfo Handi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Matei in the 13th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Mateo Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Lucado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Adolfo Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Lucado, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Mateo Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Rosalio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monserrat FC. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 52nd minute, Honorato Leguizamón got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Club Atletico Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, Monserrat FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Handi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Benvide. After a rather tough play, Monserrat FC's Honorato Leguizamón got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes of play, Monserrat FC's Mateo Lopez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leon Rosalio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leon Rosalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Corderall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Matei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Adolfo Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Rosalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Lopez in the 77th minute of the match. Mateo Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Rosalio having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Guido Corderall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mateo Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monserrat FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Atletico Platense for a fine match.
