Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Revolucion 87's Gustavo Olando started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Garci got free with Jorge Intxixu in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Erubiel Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Gustavo Olando had several of the LuqePlate's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Jorge Intxixu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Francisco Garci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Revolucion 87's Francisco Garci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Intxixu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victorino Betadur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Elorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Francisco Garci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Olando in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Intxixu saved LuqePlate from getting behind. In the 39th minute Ulises Elorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Betadur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of LuqePlate:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Revolucion 87:s goal. Revolucion 87's Victorino Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Elorri in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Telmo to strike the kick off in the second half. Jorge Intxixu came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Revolucion 87's Francisco Garci. But to his dismay, Francisco Garci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gustavo Olando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Intxixu having to interfere. Jacobo Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Francisco Garci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Olando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Intxixu was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Francisco Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Intxixu having to interfere. Francisco Garci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jorge Intxixu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Revolucion 87's Gustavo Olando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Intxixu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ulises Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Victorino Betadur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Elorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the game, Revolucion 87's Francisco Garci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Intxixu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Revolucion 87's Gustavo Olando got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Intxixu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Garci in the 89th minute of play. Gustavo Olando struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Jorge Intxixu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revolucion 87. There was no doubt that Revolucion 87 were the better team. Revolucion 87's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
