In a very dangerous position, a player in THE BROTHERS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind GINKO FC's goalkeeper Pastor Gilen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, THE BROTHERS's Iker Raebert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Everardo Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Gilen having to interfere. Iker Raebert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Pastor Gilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Gilen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Belmiro in the 36th minute of play. Everardo Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Gilen having to interfere. Pastor Gilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Belmiro in the 45th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iker Raebert was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, THE BROTHERS's Iker Raebert ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pastor Gilen. Pastor Gilen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After having played for 56 minutes, Hermengildo Mercurio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GINKO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Mercurio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Iker Raebert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in GINKO FC's zone, Everardo Belmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Gilen came out of the goal and Everardo Belmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GINKO FC's Pastor Gilen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save GINKO FC from getting a goal against them. Pastor Gilen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 75th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eustacio Beturian. The nice shot from Everardo Belmiro in the 76thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Pastor Gilen had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Iker Raebert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Gilen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Everardo Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Gilen having to interfere. Hermengildo Mercurio scored 2-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Celio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hermengildo Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, one of GINKO FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Juan Frascuelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Celio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched THE BROTHERS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
