Club Atletico Platense's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Club Atletico Platense's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Afiq Phua fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ildefonso Evis hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Fernan Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Lucado in the 25th minute of play. Afiq Phua struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Leon Rosalio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cordoba FC. Eulalio Sadurni hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Leon Rosalio made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Isidoro Atarrabi sent off a good shot on target. Isidoro Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Leon Rosalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tammo Zippel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Ildefonso Evis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ildefonso Evis made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Panfilo in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Platense's goalkeeper Leon Rosalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Gomez made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Miguel Lucado sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th match minute, Cordoba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Platense's goalkeeper Leon Rosalio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Club Atletico Platense got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Sadurni. When Francisco Sotil came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Cordoba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Sotil couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Lucado got free with Fernan Gomez in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leon Rosalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afiq Phua in the 72nd minute of the match. Fernan Gomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Matei, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 82nd minute, Tammo Zippel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nicasio Panfilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Rosalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tammo Zippel in the 90th minute of play. Ildefonso Evis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Leon Rosalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cordoba FC fully deserved thier win.
