Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fernando Telmo kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Omar Quilino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Intxixu. Omar Quilino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Fernando Telmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Intxixu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Quilino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes LuqePlate got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Ostots. Fernando Telmo scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Birjaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ulises Elorri came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the LuqePlate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Elorri couldn't finish the play. Lucio Paio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Intxixu having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Fernando Telmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filomeno Birjaio. Uturungo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Telmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Quilino to strike the kick off in the second half. LuqePlate's Fernando Telmo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Enrique Francis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uturungo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LuqePlate the free kick. In the 60th match minute, Uturungo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Victoro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Uturungo's Omar Quilino got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ulises Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Filomeno Birjaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Fernando Telmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. LuqePlate's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Telmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Birjaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulises Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Birjaio having to interfere. After 71 played minutes Uturungo got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Bide. Ulises Elorri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Filomeno Birjaio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 81 minutes into the game, Omar Quilino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uturungo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LuqePlate the free kick. In the 81st minute, Omar Quilino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulises Elorri might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Birjaio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulises Elorri ran back to his position shaking his head. Ulises Elorri in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filomeno Birjaio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 94 minutes into the match, Uturungo's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Telmo came free, but Filomeno Birjaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Uturungo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LuqePlate were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
