Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iker Raebert started the match with the kick off. Hector Libertad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Leon Rosalio made a huge save. Iker Raebert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Leon Rosalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Iker Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Rosalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as THE BROTHERS's Iker Raebert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leon Rosalio. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. THE BROTHERS's Fabian Celio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Matei in the 31st minute of play. If Everardo Belmiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Iker Raebert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THE BROTHERS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iker Raebert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Club Atletico Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Belarmo to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Matei was the one to do the kick off. When Dante Orzaize fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Platense's protests and gave Dante Orzaize a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Dante Orzaize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Matei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fabian Celio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind THE BROTHERS's goalkeeper Fabian Celio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Everardo Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Rosalio having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atletico Platense booed when THE BROTHERS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Libertad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, THE BROTHERS's goalkeeper Fabian Celio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Lucado. 78 minutes into the match, THE BROTHERS's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Matei came free, but Fabian Celio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Matei struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Fabian Celio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Platense. 83 minutes into the match, THE BROTHERS's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Matei came free, but Fabian Celio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Anier Vedillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Belmiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iker Raebert scored 2-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leon Rosalio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. THE BROTHERS had played much better football throughout.
