After some careless play in the Jujuy defense, Ulises Froylan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Rojelio. The Revolucion 87 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Betadur should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Revolucion 87's goalkeeper Victorino Betadur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Eleder. A collision led to Jujuy getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Santiago Gorosti hit a great ball. 19 minutes in the game, Aureliano Sol fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Victorino Betadur having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Eduardo Eleder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victorino Betadur was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, Ulises Froylan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Rojelio. Jujuy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Froylan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ulises Froylan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Ulises Froylan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Santiago Gorosti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nestor Rojelio came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Revolucion 87's Ulises Froylan. But to his dismay, Ulises Froylan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Francisco Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Rojelio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Sol in the 45th minute of play forced Revolucion 87's goalkeeper Victorino Betadur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Revolucion 87 were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Sol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Veronica in the 51st minute of play forced Jujuy's goalkeeper Nestor Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute Cornelio Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Rojelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Jujuy's goalkeeper Nestor Rojelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Froylan. If Americo Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jujuy's Santiago Gorosti got a free kick in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Garci in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Rojelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 played minutes Jujuy got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Rivero. Victorino Betadur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Eleder in the 84th minute of the match. Francisco Garci received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nestor Rojelio came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Garci slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelio Rufio in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Rojelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Froylan in the 93rd minute of play forced Jujuy's goalkeeper Nestor Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Froylan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-5 in the 95th playminute. Revolucion 87 played a much better game than Jujuy and deserved their victory. The Jujuy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
