Tammo Zippel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jorge Intxixu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Afiq Phua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cordoba FC's Fernan Gomez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Elorri in the 24th minute of play. When Tammo Zippel fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cordoba FC's protests and gave Tammo Zippel a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Cordoba FC got a freekick which was hit by Tammo Zippel. Mario Nuxila hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. LuqePlate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Tammo Zippel scored to the left of an out of position Jorge Intxixu, making the score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Afiq Phua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cordoba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Afiq Phua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Intxixu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the game, Cordoba FC's Tammo Zippel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Intxixu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ildefonso Evis was the one to do the kick off. When Afiq Phua came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Cordoba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afiq Phua couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Evis in the 52nd minute of play forced LuqePlate's goalkeeper Jorge Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afiq Phua might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Intxixu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Afiq Phua ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidoro Atarrabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 58 minutes, Tammo Zippel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cordoba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tammo Zippel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tammo Zippel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jorge Intxixu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tammo Zippel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Intxixu having to interfere. Jorge Intxixu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Atarrabi in the 68th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Cordoba FC's Afiq Phua made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Intxixu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ildefonso Evis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tammo Zippel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Intxixu having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind LuqePlate's goalkeeper Jorge Intxixu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Afiq Phua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Intxixu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afiq Phua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute of the match Cordoba FC got a corner. LuqePlate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francisco Sotil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Francisco Sotil made a great header on Cordoba FC's corner, it was just that LuqePlate's Jorge Intxixu managed to reach the ball for a save. After 86 minutes of play, Cordoba FC's Afiq Phua made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Intxixu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in LuqePlate's zone, Isidoro Atarrabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Intxixu came out of the goal and Isidoro Atarrabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Isidoro Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cordoba FC had played much better football throughout.
