That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 9 minutes into the match, THE BROTHERS's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Olando came free, but Fabian Celio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gustavo Olando came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Revolucion 87 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Olando couldn't finish the play. Francisco Garci struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Fabian Celio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revolucion 87. Revolucion 87's Primitivo Janpier suffered a sprained foot after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Revolucion 87 booed when THE BROTHERS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Iaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Revolucion 87's Francisco Garci got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Celio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Olando in the 25th minute. Americo Veronica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Revolucion 87's Florentino Guillen got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Revolucion 87 got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Guillen. When Everardo Belmiro came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the THE BROTHERS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Belmiro couldn't finish the play. When THE BROTHERS's Everardo Belmiro in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Revolucion 87's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Garci made a kick off. If Cornelio Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Revolucion 87's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Garci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind THE BROTHERS's goalkeeper Fabian Celio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fabian Celio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Rufio in the 62nd minute of play. Iker Raebert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Anier Vedillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Garci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
