Omar Quilino struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Nestor Rojelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uturungo. 5 minutes into the match, Jujuy's Eduardo Eleder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filomeno Birjaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Sol in the 10th minute of play forced Uturungo's goalkeeper Filomeno Birjaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Uturungo booed when Jujuy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Rivero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes, Uturungo's Elvio Bide shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nestor Rojelio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Uturungo reached it. If Omar Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Eleder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Birjaio having to interfere. Eduardo Eleder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Quilino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Rojelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Eduardo Eleder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Birjaio having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Sol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Paio in the 57th minute of play forced Jujuy's goalkeeper Nestor Rojelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Uturungo getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Enrique Francis hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Santiago Valerio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Uturungo's Filomeno Birjaio didn't even have to move. Eduardo Eleder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Birjaio having to interfere. Nestor Rojelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of Uturungo booed when Jujuy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Tiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Paio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Rojelio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jujuy's Santo Romero got a free kick in the 67th minute. Lucio Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Jujuy's Eduardo Eleder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filomeno Birjaio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Uturungo's Filomeno Birjaio got control of the ball when Eduardo Eleder tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Eduardo Eleder sped through Uturungo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filomeno Birjaio. Filomeno Birjaio made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Eduardo Eleder sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th match minute, Jujuy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Uturungo getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Enrique Francis hit a great ball. Jujuy were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after Uturungo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santiago Valerio took the corner. When the final whistle sounded Jujuy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Uturungo.
