E.'s Prospero Montay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Corderall in the 10th minute of play. Mateo Lopez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Prospero Montay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Guido Corderall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes, Angel Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zipevah F. E. and the Monserrat FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zipevah F. E.'s Angel Santana got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Monserrat FC's Daniel Niva couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zipevah F. E.. After a defensive mix-up in Zipevah F. E.'s zone, Guido Corderall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Montay came out of the goal and Guido Corderall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saverio Luar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saverio Luar charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Luar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Monserrat FC booed when Zipevah F. E. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Luar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Guido Corderall sped through Zipevah F. E.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Prospero Montay. Saverio Luar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Handi having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Monserrat FC's zone, Angel Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Handi came out of the goal and Angel Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Monserrat FC's Prospero Montay threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guido Corderall, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angel Santana made a kick off. If Guido Corderall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mateo Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monserrat FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Montay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saverio Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Adolfo Handi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Corderall in the 64th minute of play forced Zipevah F. E.'s goalkeeper Prospero Montay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Corderall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Zipevah F. E.'s zone, Mateo Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Montay came out of the goal and Mateo Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st match minute, Zipevah F. E. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Ubelteso to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of Zipevah F. E.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Monserrat FC:s goal. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Monserrat FC. Daniel Niva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Prospero Montay. 2-1. When Saverio Luar was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. Saverio Luar hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes, Monserrat FC's Daniel Niva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Prospero Montay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monserrat FC reached it. Mateo Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Prospero Montay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Santana hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Adolfo Handi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Ubelteso in the 89th minute. Angel Santana struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Adolfo Handi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zipevah F. E.. If Angel Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Monserrat FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zipevah F. E. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
