After a defensive mix-up in giunta y su ballet's zone, Emiliano Gagriel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Confesor came out of the goal and Emiliano Gagriel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 minutes, Isaac Qwinton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RiverPalomarFC and the giunta y su ballet players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Isaac Qwinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Froylan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Suero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Leo Froylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rolando Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, RiverPalomarFC's goalkeeper Rolando Suero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Froylan. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Emiliano Gagriel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Venancio Confesor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Leo Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, RiverPalomarFC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Ciceron came free, but Rolando Suero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RiverPalomarFC's Rolando Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Ciceron in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind RiverPalomarFC's goalkeeper Rolando Suero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Leo Froylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Norberto Ciceron scored 2-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Suero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to giunta y su ballet getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Santo Otoniel hit a great ball.
