Teroloco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Gotzon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victoriano Montrell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celestino Rumaldo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Celestino Rumaldo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Santos Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Montrell having to interfere. Victoriano Montrell was a little too slow when Santos Ramone got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-0. Narciso Veto's late challenge caught a Teroloco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Gotzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 played minutes Kitty Club got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Polo. Filiberto Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Victoriano Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Montrell having to interfere. Filiberto Gotzon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Gotzon struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Victoriano Montrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teroloco. With a little luck, Kitty Club's Victoriano Montrell got control of the ball when Timoteo Ranolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Kitty Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. Kitty Club's Victoriano Montrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Rumaldo in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Narciso Veto made the kick off in the second half. If Adolfo Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Robustiano Demario came out of the goal and Venancio Librado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
