Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leo Froylan to make the kick off. Venancio Confesor had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Cesar Domenec from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After taking down the ball on CFTC's corner Ariel Baleren fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Venancio Confesor quite easily take care of the ball. CFTC's Ariel Baleren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Froylan in the 88th minute of play forced CFTC's goalkeeper Bartolo Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CFTC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
