Rosendo Orlan charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Orlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Tablillas's Rosendo Orlan got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tablillas's goalkeeper Manuel Henrico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Florin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tablillas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juvenilla FC the free kick. The supporters of Juvenilla FC booed when Tablillas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Florin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Henrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Lleir in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Celedonio Jaunzuria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Henrico was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The coaching staff of Juvenilla FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jorge Gentza had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 67 minutes into the game, one of Juvenilla FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With an all-out effort, Juvenilla FC's Manuel Henrico threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pipat Benedetto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Anastasio Lleir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Anastasio Lleir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juvenilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anastasio Lleir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Henrico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juvenilla FC played a much better game than Tablillas and deserved their victory. The Tablillas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
