If Isaias Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Julian Telesforo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estudiantes de la palta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raptor the free kick. Fulgencio Cordareo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Melquiades Paez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Fulgencio Cordareo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raptor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Cordareo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Isaias Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Raptor booed when Estudiantes de la palta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Isaias Arlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de la palta's Leonides Ikatz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes de la palta's zone, Fulgencio Cordareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Paez came out of the goal and Fulgencio Cordareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Fulgencio Veto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Astrada was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulgencio Veto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonides Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Narciso Astrada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Aurelio Filipo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulgencio Cordareo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Melquiades Paez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Cordareo in the 69th minute of play forced Estudiantes de la palta's goalkeeper Melquiades Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estudiantes de la palta's Melquiades Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Cordareo in the 76th minute of play. The Raptor supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Estudiantes de la palta's performance. The match ended with a win for Estudiantes de la palta.
