Catan City's Angelino Fero got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cecilio Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Prospero Loiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Calvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 played minutes Reggae got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Resto. Catan City's Jeremias Chico got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Angelino Fero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cecilio Calvino to make the kick off. When Blas Truylos fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reggae's protests and gave Blas Truylos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Reggae's Blas Truylos got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 55 played minutes Catan City got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Calvino. A collision led to Catan City getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Alejandro Micael hit a great ball. If Cecilio Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prospero Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Reggae's Adrian Odon got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Reggae's zone, Cecilio Calvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Loiola came out of the goal and Cecilio Calvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Angelino Fero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Reggae's Prospero Loiola. Prospero Loiola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 83 minutes into the match, Catan City's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Sanduru came free, but Cosme Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cosme Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Sanduru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Valiente was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 96th minute Alejandro Micael suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Leonardo Cheche fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reggae's protests and gave Leonardo Cheche a yellow card for diving instead. Leonardo Cheche hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Angelino Fero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Catan City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Reggae.
