Albano Quinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Abaurre in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAGALLANES.F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorge Vincente was slow to take the kick. During this time Scaloneta's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jorge Vincente got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Albano Quinto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. MAGALLANES.F.C.'s Albano Quinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save MAGALLANES.F.C. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of MAGALLANES.F.C. booed when Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costante didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Alfonso Onofre shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melchor Shepherd showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Rene Nevada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. MAGALLANES.F.C.'s Albano Quinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save MAGALLANES.F.C. from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Hotz came free, but Melchor Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Patricio Costante came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Scaloneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costante couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the MAGALLANES.F.C. defense, Marcelo Abaurre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Quinto. The MAGALLANES.F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Quinto should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Marcelo Abaurre fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Albano Quinto, passed just outside the right post. Marcelo Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Quinto having to interfere. Rene Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in MAGALLANES.F.C.'s zone, Patricio Costante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Quinto came out of the goal and Patricio Costante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Abaurre to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Abaurre might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albano Quinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Abaurre ran back to his position shaking his head. Adan Hotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Segundo Pacho kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Marcelo Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Quinto having to interfere. Victor Todor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Albano Quinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes, Scaloneta's Robustiano Goito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Albano Quinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Scaloneta reached it. Marcelo Abaurre struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Albano Quinto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scaloneta. Marcelo Abaurre scored 3-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albano Quinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Marcelo Abaurre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
