Baldomero Jokin charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomero Jokin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes, Scaloneta's Jorge Vincente shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omar Jon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Scaloneta reached it. Rene Nevada kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Pippin FC defense, Victor Todor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Jon. The Pippin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Jon should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Patricio Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Jon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Patricio Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Rene Nevada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Nevada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Scaloneta's Melchor Shepherd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Scaloneta from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Pippin FC defense, Marcelo Abaurre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Jon. The Pippin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Jon should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Scaloneta getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Patricio Costante hit a great ball. Gilberto Oliverio shot from long distance in the 29th minute, but Melchor Shepherd was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Jusepe during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Dario Jusepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Abaurre in the 37th minute of play forced Pippin FC's goalkeeper Omar Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Patricio Costante managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Abaurre in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Jon saved Pippin FC from getting behind. In the 44th minute Marcelo Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Jon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Victor Todor came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Scaloneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Todor couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquiles Bras made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Severiano Venerando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scaloneta's Marcelo Abaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severiano Venerando was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 61st match minute, Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Venerando to maneuver through the defense. Omar Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Todor in the 65th minute of the match. Rene Nevada scored 1-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omar Jon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 70th minute, Patricio Costante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Patricio Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pippin FC's zone, Marcelo Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Jon came out of the goal and Marcelo Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Jon acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Astor Casado. If Rene Nevada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
