Spectators: 7253 (Terracing: 5441, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Club Atlético Camerunense's Rosendo Montrell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rosendo Baristo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Urbes in the 11th minute of play. Rigoberto Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Blas Truylos came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Reggae fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Truylos couldn't finish the play. Rosendo Baristo came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Reggae's Rigoberto Urbes. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Urbes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rosendo Baristo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Sanduru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Resto kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The nice shot from Baldomiro Corderro in the 41stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Prospero Loiola had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When Leonardo Cheche fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reggae's protests and gave Leonardo Cheche a yellow card for diving instead. Leonardo Cheche hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After the first half Reggae were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Timoteo Sanduru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Baristo having to interfere. Rosendo Montrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Baldomiro Corderro made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Loiola. Reggae's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Reggae's Rigoberto Urbes got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Timoteo Sanduru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Baristo having to interfere. If Rosendo Montrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Club Atlético Camerunense's Baldomiro Corderro in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reggae's goalie prevented a goal. Baldomiro Corderro struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Prospero Loiola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Camerunense. In the 78th minute Baldomiro Corderro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Loiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Reggae was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Truylos to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rdth minute of the game Rosendo Montrell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reggae's Prospero Loiola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Prospero Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Corderro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Cheche was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 88 played minutes Reggae got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Cheche. Baldomiro Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Boni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Rigoberto Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reggae's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Urbes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Baristo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Reggae players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Club Atlético Camerunense from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
