The referee ignored Concepción AFC's protests and gave Saul Ermengol a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of mike FC booed when Concepción AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Ermengol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Omar Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Playos short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Ulises Vimaro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Concepción AFC's zone, Ivan Playo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Vimaro came out of the goal and Ivan Playo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Braulio Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Vimaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Nuno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Vimaro having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Braulio Gaitan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulises Vimaro. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Aquilino Nuno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Concepción AFC's Ulises Vimaro got control of the ball when Aquilino Nuno tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the mike FC defense, Omar Matthew kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Hats. The mike FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Hats should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Playo made a kick off. Aquilino Nuno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tobias Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Tonete might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guaberto Hats. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the match clock showed 99 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Ivan Playo sped through Concepción AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulises Vimaro. There was no doubt that mike FC were the better team. mike FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
