Velezano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gauss KF the free kick. After a rather tough play, Velezano FC's Anibal Garcia got a free kick in the 19th minute. The Gauss KF fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Gauss KF's Apolo Iyan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Astor Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes of play, Velezano FC's Placido Bonadona made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Erramu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Gauss KF defense, Astor Artizar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Erramu. The Gauss KF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Erramu should have stopped the shot. Apolo Iyan took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Urtzi. Hector Urtzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 47 minutes into the game, Astor Artizar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Aristides Erramu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agustin Senon to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Eguzki's late challenge caught a Velezano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvestre Eguzki helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gauss KF's Silvestre Eguzki got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Felipe Aznaro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gauss KF's Aristides Erramu didn't even have to move. Astor Artizar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Aristides Erramu made a huge save. Agustin Senon might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector Urtzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustin Senon ran back to his position shaking his head. Apolo Iyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Agustin Senon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Hector Urtzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Iyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Astor Artizar took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristides Erramu. Aristides Erramu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. 97 minutes into the match, Gauss KF's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Bonadona came free, but Aristides Erramu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
