If Tobias Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Cordeara made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Tobias Tonete sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Chano in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Vimaro saved Concepción AFC from getting behind. If Tobias Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Zanjón got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Ibar. Concepción AFC's Omar Matthew got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geronimo Chano might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulises Vimaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geronimo Chano ran back to his position shaking his head. Justino Seber struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ulises Vimaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zanjón. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Chano in the 30th minute of play forced Concepción AFC's goalkeeper Ulises Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Chano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zanjón's Geronimo Chano got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulises Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Seber in the 36th minute of play. Justino Seber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Concepción AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Seber came free, but Ulises Vimaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Seber in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulises Vimaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Concepción AFC's Elias Lucila got a free kick in the 46th minute. 48 minutes in the game, Justino Seber dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Matthew made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Severo Etxatxu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Concepción AFC and the Zanjón players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Concepción AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Eguen. Ulises Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Seber in the 62nd minute of the match. Severo Etxatxu hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Concepción AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Seber came free, but Ulises Vimaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geronimo Chano in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ulises Vimaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Omar Matthew came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Concepción AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Matthew couldn't finish the play. Ulises Vimaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Chano in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Concepción AFC's Ulises Vimaro got control of the ball when Geronimo Chano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geronimo Chano took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulises Vimaro. Ulises Vimaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Chano in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Vimaro saved Concepción AFC from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Geronimo Chano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Concepción AFC's Ulises Vimaro. Ulises Vimaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zanjón's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
