Florentino Oliviero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Iyan in the 8th minute of the match. When Cirilo Rico fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Caballito's protests and gave Cirilo Rico a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gauss KF booed when Club Deportivo Caballito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Rico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Oliviero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Eguzki in the 18th minute of the match. Hector Azubeli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aristides Erramu came out and tried to block the shot, but Hector Azubeli slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Cirilo Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Erramu having to interfere. In the 36th minute Agustin Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Oliviero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Caballito defense, Agustin Senon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florentino Oliviero. The Club Deportivo Caballito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florentino Oliviero should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agustin Senon to make the kick off. Florentino Oliviero was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jeronimo Maxin. In the 61st minute, Norberto Ubelteso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Erramu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Norberto Ubelteso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Gauss KF's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Rico came free, but Aristides Erramu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolo Iyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Oliviero having to interfere. Apolo Iyan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Florentino Oliviero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cirilo Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Erramu having to interfere. Agustin Senon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Florentino Oliviero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustin Senon struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Florentino Oliviero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gauss KF. Club Deportivo Caballito were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Gauss KF for a fine match.
