Spectators: 7254 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eugenio Larra kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Paulino Mede left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rodero AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Zanjón's Domingos Ibar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Abad. That made the score 1-1 after 6 minutes of play. Victoriano Abad came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Zanjón's Geronimo Chano. But to his dismay, Geronimo Chano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Segundo Cordeara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Larra, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Victoriano Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Seber in the 19th minute of play. Domingos Ibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Ignatius was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Rodero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Ignatius. In the 31st minute, Laureano Lluis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victoriano Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Ibar in the 34th minute of play. Victoriano Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Seber, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute Domingos Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Abad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Chano in the 42nd minute. Geronimo Chano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Geronimo Chanos short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Victoriano Abad to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justino Seber to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Zanjón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Fliz to maneuver through the defense. If Justino Seber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Fliz, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Domingos Benino's late challenge caught a Zanjón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Benino helped the player get up and apologised. Domingos Benino hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Seber in the 65th minute of play forced Rodero AFC's goalkeeper Victoriano Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Tello kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Eugenio Larra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Cordeara having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Rodero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Tello to maneuver through the defense. Victoriano Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rodero AFC's zone, Justino Seber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Abad came out of the goal and Justino Seber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83rd play minutes Justino Seber shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Victoriano Abad and just under the crossbar into goal. If Geronimo Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Justino Seber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victoriano Abad was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. If Geronimo Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Rodero AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Seber came free, but Victoriano Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Zanjón were the better team. Zanjón's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
