Ulises Vimaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdés. Isidoro Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ulises Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Senen kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Tobias Tonete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hermengildo Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Figueroa in the 21st minute of play forced Concepción AFC's goalkeeper Ulises Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Valdés's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Endira came free, but Hermengildo Tartalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Danilo Frisco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulises Vimaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Omar Matthew came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Concepción AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Matthew couldn't finish the play. Concepción AFC's Tobias Tonete got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Valdés's Saul Perez got a free kick in the 41st minute. If Tobias Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafino Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Valdés's Teodosio Claude took a good shot, in the 46th minute, which hit the crossbar above Ulises Vimaro's head, and flew over the goal. Concepción AFC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Valdés. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Figueroa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulises Vimaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Modestio in the 52nd minute. Valdés were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Concepción AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teodosio Claude took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Lucas Che got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ulises Vimaro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Isidoro Figueroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tobias Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Omar Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Guido Endira fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Concepción AFC's protests and gave Guido Endira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Valdés booed when Concepción AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Endira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Claude took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulises Vimaro. Concepción AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 78th minute, Severo Etxatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Sebastian Modestio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Valdés booed when Concepción AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Omar Matthew cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hermengildo Tartalo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
