Sastre's Junior Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Lucila in the 45th minute of play. When Omar Matthew came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Concepción AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Matthew couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Matthew stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ulises Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Otoniel in the 55th minute of play. Eustaquio Brion took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulises Vimaro. Ulises Vimaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Marco Otoniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Pechon in the 61st minute of play forced Concepción AFC's goalkeeper Ulises Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Eustaquio Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sastre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Brion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blas Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Vimaro having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Sastre's Blas Dominguez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulises Vimaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Concepción AFC's zone, Eustaquio Brion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Vimaro came out of the goal and Eustaquio Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Otoniel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulises Vimaro having to make a save. If Eustaquio Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulises Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Dominguez in the 87th minute of the match. Blas Dominguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Otoniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Concepción AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Vinicio Eguen hit a great ball. If Eustaquio Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sastre had played much better football throughout.
