After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Justino Seber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zanjón's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Seber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Urtzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Seber in the 55th minute of play forced Velezano FC's goalkeeper Hector Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Velezano FC's Felipe Aznaro got a free kick in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Velezano FC's Hector Urtzi got control of the ball when Geronimo Chano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Velezano FC's goalkeeper Hector Urtzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Velezano FC's Hector Urtzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Velezano FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Hector Urtzi managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Zanjón's Geronimo Chano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 88 minutes, Alonzo Firman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velezano FC and the Zanjón players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Velezano FC's Alonzo Firman got a free kick in the 88th minute. Zanjón's Justino Seber got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Domingos Ibar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hector Urtzi was a little too slow when Justino Seber got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-2. When Geronimo Chano came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Zanjón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Chano couldn't finish the play. Zanjón played a much better game than Velezano FC and deserved their victory. The Velezano FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
