The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Rami got free with Junior Roland in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sastre's Marco Otoniel got a free kick in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Washington Lucas in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixto Dei saved Copacabana AFC from getting behind. In the 30th minute Washington Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Dei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Washington Lucas went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Washington Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonel Lamberto hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Washington Lucas might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Dei. Marco Otoniel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixto Dei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Copacabana AFC were victorious despite being under pressure from Sastre for much of the match.
