In the 11th minute, Concepción AFC's Elias Lucila ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Bernaldo. Paulo Bernaldo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Tobias Tonete did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Paulo Bernaldo 15 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the game, Sola's Cornelio Sol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulises Vimaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ulises Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Gartxot in the 26th minute of play. Concepción AFC's Ulises Vimaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Sol in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Albano Merexildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Matthew was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Concepción AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 30 minutes, Tobias Tonete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Concepción AFC and the Sola players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Concepción AFC's Tobias Tonete got a free kick in the 30th minute. Tobias Tonete could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Paulo Bernaldo made a huge save. The supporters of Sola booed when Concepción AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Matthew didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Concepción AFC's zone, Nunez Frutos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulises Vimaro came out of the goal and Nunez Frutos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tobias Tonete was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nunez Frutos in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulises Vimaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Bernaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Nunez Frutos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sola's supporters rose to their feet, but Nunez Frutos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Vimaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severiano Venceslao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Vimaro having to interfere. Ulises Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Frutos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Severiano Venceslao was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Concepción AFC the free kick. Severiano Venceslao kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Severiano Venceslao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Venceslao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Clemente Gartxot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulises Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Sol in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Sol in the 84th minute of play forced Concepción AFC's goalkeeper Ulises Vimaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Concepción AFC! Cornelio Sol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ulises Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
