Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Placido Bonadona started the match with the kick off. When Rodero AFC's Eugenio Larra in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velezano FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 6 played minutes Rodero AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Enekoitz. Victoriano Abad made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Astor Artizar sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Velezano FC booed when Rodero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Ignatius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Rodero AFC's Modesto Ignatius seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Modesto Ignatius the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rodero AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Modesto Ignatius had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rodero AFC!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugenio Larra to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rodero AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Freddy Berdoi hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Placido Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Rodero AFC's Eugenio Larra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hector Urtzi. Hector Urtzi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 63rd minute, Astor Artizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Placido Bonadona struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Victoriano Abad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velezano FC. 77 minutes into the game, Domingos Benino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rodero AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velezano FC the free kick. If Placido Bonadona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodero AFC's Victoriano Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Artizar in the 80th minute of play. After 82 minutes, Mauro Transito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodero AFC and the Velezano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Mauro Transito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Velezano FC's goalkeeper Hector Urtzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodero AFC's Eugenio Larra got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hector Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Larra in the 100th minute of play. Velezano FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
