After a defensive mix-up in Play Off Demon's zone, Luis Urritz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Umea came out of the goal and Luis Urritz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 played minutes Play Off Demon got a freekick which was hit by Natalio Amaya. Saul Bernard scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Umea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Play Off Demon's Natalio Amaya got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Celedonio Urbasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th match minute, Cerveceros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Mede to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Luis Urtun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Play Off Demon's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Urtun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Frechoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Ubelteso during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute Celedonio Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luisito Loreto fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cerveceros's protests and gave Luisito Loreto a yellow card for diving instead. Luisito Loreto hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luis Urritz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saul Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Umea having to interfere. Maximino Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Urritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Saul Bernard came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maximino Umea could save by the left post. Saul Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Umea having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Saul Bernard notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Play Off Demon's Maximino Umea. Maximino Umea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Celedonio Urbasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Eduardo Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Celedonio Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Mede's late challenge caught a Play Off Demon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Mede helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cerveceros's Carmelo Mede got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 92nd minute Celedonio Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Play Off Demon's Maximino Umea got control of the ball when Saul Bernard tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Cerveceros supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cerveceros would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
