Manzano FC's Ruben Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Tanio in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to 5 AM getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ambrosio Joey hit a great ball. Ruben Cordario made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Bernardo Urdaspal sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Placido Estevon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manzano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Estevon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Mattin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Placido Estevon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Mattin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eusebio Mosen charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Mosen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Eusebio Mosen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manzano FC's Hugo Illan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for 5 AM. Baldomiro Mattin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Estevon, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 33 played minutes 5 AM got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Mosen. Placido Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Baldomiro Mattin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bernardo Urdaspal came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the 5 AM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Urdaspal couldn't finish the play. Evelio Tanio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes, Robustiano Luken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manzano FC and the 5 AM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robustiano Luken hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Bernardo Urdaspal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Tanio in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Aires made a kick off. With his leg Baldomiro Mattin managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Manzano FC's Placido Estevon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zeledon Transito kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Bernardo Urdaspal fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 5 AM's protests and gave Bernardo Urdaspal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Manzano FC booed when 5 AM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Urdaspal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Emilio Aires came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Manzano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Aires couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Cordario having to interfere. Ruben Cordario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Tanio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Urdaspal took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Cordario. Ruben Cordario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Evelio Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
