Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emilio Aires made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Manzano FC's zone, Tiburcio Egoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Cordario came out of the goal and Tiburcio Egoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Aires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Geronimo Rivero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifacio Charro thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ruben Cordario, a very annoying self made goal in the 9th minute which led to 0-1. After 12 minutes of play, Gojira FC's Tiburcio Egoitz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ruben Cordario was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruben Cordario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Cresencio's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Gojira FC's Feliciano Cresencio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Cordario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manzano FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adan Odilon was slow to take the kick. During this time Gojira FC's players had a chance to rest. Adan Odilon made a great header on Gojira FC's corner, it was just that Manzano FC's Ruben Cordario managed to reach the ball for a save. Feliciano Cresencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ruben Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manzano FC's Ruben Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Egoitz in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Aquiles Bizi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manzano FC and the Gojira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aquiles Bizi hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Gojira FC's Tiburcio Egoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquiles Bizi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ruben Cordario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Cresencio's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. If Tiburcio Egoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Gojira FC's Norberto Miro got a free kick in the 48th minute. After the first half Gojira FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiburcio Egoitz to make the kick off. Genaro Delfino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Gojira FC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Odilon. When Emilio Aires came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Manzano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Aires couldn't finish the play. Feliciano Cresencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Emilio Berart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Berart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ruben Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Illan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Gojira FC's Ruben Cordario threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tiburcio Egoitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Feliciano Cresencio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Estevon in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Rivero saved Gojira FC from getting behind. When Tiburcio Egoitz came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Gojira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Egoitz couldn't finish the play. Ruben Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Egoitz in the 83rd minute of play. Feliciano Cresencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manzano FC's Ruben Cordario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Manzano FC from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, Tiburcio Egoitz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ruben Cordario, passed just outside the right post. If Tiburcio Egoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
