The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Laureano Bastia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA All Boys reached it. Aquilino Gaueko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Rudolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, CA All Boys's Domingos Pepillo got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Alejandro Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erubiel Balasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Gonzalez having to interfere. If Pastor Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Rufo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Soto's Erubiel Balasi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angel Gonzalez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angel Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Bastia in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Erubiel Balasi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the game, Laureano Bastia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Angel Gonzalez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute, Pastor Rudolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angel Gonzalez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erubiel Balasi went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Solustiano during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Soto booed when CA All Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Solustiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. CA All Boys's Angel Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Balasi in the 72nd minute of play. Laureano Bastia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Angel Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severino Tabby during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Soto's zone, Pastor Rudolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Gaueko came out of the goal and Pastor Rudolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Severino Tabby was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 96 played minutes CA All Boys got a freekick which was hit by Severino Tabby. For all the effort they put into the match, the CA All Boys players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Soto.
