In the 3rd minute, Silverio Beltxe made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Urre. Zárate AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Silverio Beltxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Urre having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Zárate AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Todor to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Rios scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conrado Urre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 19 minutes, Esteve Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Rios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute Esteve Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Uriel Eleazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Otsoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Conrado Urre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Esteve Rios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Candelaria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Esteve Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Silverio Beltxe came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Candelaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silverio Beltxe couldn't finish the play. Zárate AFC's Uriel Eleazar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Zárate AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Candelaria were winning 1-3.

After a rather tough play, Zárate AFC's Cristobal Lia got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Silverio Beltxe sped through Zárate AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Conrado Urre. 59 minutes into the match, Zárate AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Rios came free, but Conrado Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Urre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteve Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Candelaria were awarded a corner. Sixto Gartzi went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Candelaria's Sixto Gartzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Conrado Urre despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Candelaria's Esteve Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Silverio Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteve Rios in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Urre saved Zárate AFC from getting behind. In the 73rd minute, Silverio Beltxe made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Urre. Zárate AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Esteve Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silverio Beltxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conrado Urre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silverio Beltxe in the 92nd minute. Candelaria's Rodrigo Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Gabirel in the 98th minute of play.
