Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Carlos Munio made the kick off and thus started the match. Pablo Nofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Iztal having to interfere. Eulalio Valiente kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uriel Eleazar in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jesus Iztal saved Calfucurá from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Calfucurá's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Eleazar came free, but Jesus Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Arsenio Teofilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calfucurá's supporters rose to their feet, but Arsenio Teofilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Urre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th match minute, Zárate AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Nofre to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Teofilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Conrado Urre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Zárate AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Teofilio came free, but Conrado Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Urre came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Calfucurá's Arsenio Teofilio. But to his dismay, Arsenio Teofilio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Munio in the 24th minute of play forced Zárate AFC's goalkeeper Conrado Urre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Zárate AFC defense, Arsenio Teofilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Urre. The Zárate AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Urre should have stopped the shot. Conrado Urre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Munio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Natalio Gabirel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jesus Iztal, 1-2. The supporters of Calfucurá booed when Zárate AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Balendin didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Uriel Eleazar to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Zárate AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arsenio Teofilio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 60th minute, Carlos Munio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calfucurá's Arsenio Teofilio got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Conrado Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Munio in the 65th minute of play. Arsenio Teofilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Munio in the 68th minute of the match. Aureliano Todor's late challenge caught a Calfucurá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Todor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Zárate AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aureliano Todor hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Zárate AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlos Munio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Conrado Urre was a little too slow when Carlos Munio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-4. Arsenio Teofilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Arsenio Teofilio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Urre. Zárate AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Teofilio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Calfucurá left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zárate AFC.
