Spectators: 7363 (Terracing: 5523, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) Limache's Severiano Beti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Limache's Roque Stephen got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zacarias Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Vargas's late challenge caught a Limache's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Vargas helped the player get up and apologised. Zeledon Arano hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Niceto Rosalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Orlandus, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Limache's Niceto Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Vargas in the 19th minute of play. Roque Stephen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Venancio Lauro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 21 played minutes Esquina FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Eneas. Severiano Beti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Severiano Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Limache's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Orlandus came free, but Niceto Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Limache's Niceto Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Orlandus in the 45th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Orlandus to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Roque Stephen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Limache's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Stephen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Limache:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esquina FC:s goal. Niceto Rosalio had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Jose Niva's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Esquina FC's Jose Niva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niceto Rosalio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Esquina FC's Venancio Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Beti in the 57th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Nicolas Macias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Beti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, Esquina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Arano to maneuver through the defense. Limache's Niceto Rosalio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Limache from getting a goal against them. Esquina FC's Venancio Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Beti in the 72nd minute of play. Venancio Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Beti in the 73rd minute of play. Venancio Lauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Beti in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Beti in the 80th minute of play forced Esquina FC's goalkeeper Venancio Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severiano Beti in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Lauro saved Esquina FC from getting behind. Venancio Lauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severiano Beti's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Roque Stephen notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Esquina FC's Venancio Lauro. Venancio Lauro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Esquina FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Zeledon Arano hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Limache were the better team. Limache's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
