In the 6th match minute, Piojoso 87 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Orlandus to maneuver through the defense. Palmas F.C.'s Nicanor Lizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Raitin in the 31st minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ignacio Tabor made the kick off in the second half. Pastor Duardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Tabor went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute Leandro Peli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Duardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Raitin in the 75th minute of play forced Palmas F.C.'s goalkeeper Nicanor Lizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Lizar made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Federico Orlandus sent off a good shot on target. If Leandro Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. Piojoso 87's Pastor Duardo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Raitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nicanor Lizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leandro Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute.
